Your Tasks

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for defined procurement clusters
• Take responsibility for supplier strategy, the supplier portfolio and continuous supplier development
• Select, qualify, assess and develop national and international suppliers
• Identify new procurement markets, sources of supply and optimization potential
• Conduct market, competitor, cost and risk analyses
• Lead price, contract and framework agreement negotiations
• Develop and implement bundling, standardization and cost optimization measures

Your Profile

• Successfully completed degree in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain management or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in strategic procurement, category management or a comparable role, ideally in mechanical or plant engineering
• Proven success in strategic negotiations and supplier development
• Strong technical and commercial understanding combined with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style with a high level of personal responsibility
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Confident demeanor and the ability to assert yourself when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• Business-fluent written and spoken English
