In the modular, two-part versions of the LaserSpy sensor, the detector and evaluation units consist of separate housings that are connected via a connecting cable and form a sensor when combined. The T-type detector is flatter than the standard sensor and, in conjunction with the 4-fold evaluation unit, allows the detectors to be wired to the evaluation unit in a star configuration. The detector unit monitors a light-tight room for the entry of radiation in the respective sensitivity range of the NIR or VIS variant.
