Goods to Robot by Conveyor

A Warehouse Control System (WCS) efficiently organizes an interim storage facility and coordinates interfaces between customer systems, palletizing software, and fleet management.
The solution involves depalletizing and utilizing conveyor technology with buffer spaces.
One or more robot cells equipped with grippers are employed to palletize sequenced products onto target pallets, alongside AMRs and a fleet manager.

Here’s how it works:

  • Orders received from the customer system are seamlessly processed via the Reis Robotics WCS.
  • AMRs swiftly transport multiple source pallets to the depalletizing zone(s).
  • Products are transferred onto the conveyor system at the depalletizing zone.
  • The conveyor system transports products to the robot cell(s) where a new mixed target pallet is meticulously palletized.
  • Depalletized source pallets are efficiently stored in either the interim or main warehouse.
  • Once complete, the finished target pallet is transported by an AMR to an automatic stretch wrapper and then to a pick-up point, ready for shipment to customers.
  • The key difference with the Goods to Robot by conveyor solution lies in its potential palletizing capacity, offering enhanced efficiency for your operations.

Benefits:

  • High capacity and a large SKU / packaging variety
  • A mix of large and small orders that can be handled in an identical way for all products
  • Error and damage free delivery
  • Fast ROI
