Goods to Robot by Pallet
A Warehouse Control System (WCS) seamlessly organizes interim storage and coordinates interfaces between the customer system, mixed palletizing software, and fleet management.
A robot cell including a gripper, is dedicated to depalletizing and palletizing tasks, ensuring efficient handling.
Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), along with a fleet manager, play a crucial role in the process.
Here’s how it works:
- Orders transmitted from the customer system to the Reis Robotics WCS are swiftly processed.
- AMRs efficiently transport multiple source pallets to the robot cell(s) for depalletizing and palletizing.
- A new mixed target pallet is meticulously created from the products depalletized from the source pallets.
- Source pallets no longer needed are seamlessly transferred to either the interim or main warehouse.
- Simultaneously, the next source pallet is smoothly moved into the robot cell for processing.
- While a source pallet is being loaded into the robot cell, the robot continues its tasks without interruption.
- The completed target pallet is transported by an AMR to an automatic stretch wrapper and then to a pick-up point, ready for shipment to customers.
