Here’s how it works:
- A secure manual operating station equipped with palletizing software and AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) is central to the process.
- Orders transmitted to the Reis Robotics WCS from the customer system are swiftly processed.
- AMRs efficiently transport source pallets to the designated operators for picking and palletizing.
- Clear pick and stack instructions guides personnel with precise coordinates for palletizing onto the target pallet.
- No longer needed source pallets are efficiently transported to the intermediate or main warehouse.
- Meanwhile, the next source pallet is readily available for processing, ensuring continuous workflow.
- Once complete, the finished target pallet is transported by an AMR to an automatic stretch wrapper and then to a pick-up point, ready for shipment to customers.
